The Director of Day and Employment Services oversees the operation of all programs in the organization for Day and Employment Services.

The primary responsibilities of the Director of Day and Employment Services are the development of program strategy, goals, and program performance criteria for the organization.

Department: Program Management

Hours: Full-time; 40+ hours/week, Monday – Friday (Exempt)

Location: Lifeworks Services – Richfield, MN / Hybrid

Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000

Bonus Eligible: Up to 10%

How you’ll be spending your time: 

• Implementing policies and procedures aligning service delivery with the requirements of government contracts, grants, foundations, or as otherwise required by the organization. Ensure mission viability across day and employment service delivery. Promote cross training between departments and strengthen career development. 
• Strengthening community partner relationships to promote external resources and internal program development.
• Reviewing other provider programs (state & nationally) to support improved systems such as documentation, data collection, and best practice implementation. Streamline documentation and reporting across Day and Employment services.
• Outlining program development, looking at unique opportunities, to create actionable agendas that can be implemented by Community Based Services Leadership.
• Reviewing pertinent data that could support new or improved programing or funding opportunities.
• Contributing to development of the annual budget and oversee management of expenses against budget to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets. Regularly meet with Senior Managers and the Chief Growth Officer to review financial results of support teams and project forecasts.
• Building and implementing the Listen, Educate, Navigate (L.E.N.) program.
• Identifying potential new relationship targets and strategize with the CGO. Build external relationships, collaborations, and partnerships with other organizations to broaden services. Ensure CGO introductions are timely, and that the CGO is involved in relationships at the appropriate and necessary level.
• Supporting community relations and fundraising efforts through relationship building, site visits, program presentations, events, and grant writing participation.
