About The Opportunity

The Hourly Production person assists with and operates various machine centers. This person conducts safe, efficient, and timely production of product to satisfy the customer. The Hourly Production person performs in a flexible, self-directed work team environment, utilizing "pay for knowledge" system.

Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, and comply with company safety policies and procedures Maintain a clean and orderly work area Operate machinery and equipment as required, based on level of training completed Perform process quality checks as appropriate, based on assigned responsibilities Perform accurate and timely paperwork as required for the responsibilities assigned Perform minor machinery and equipment maintenance and repairs Assist other workers in the Production Department as required Train employees of lesser knowledge on machinery, equipment, and responsibilities as assigned by the    Production and/or Crew Manager Perform other duties necessary to the efficient operation of the facility Assist Maintenance employees when required Treat fellow employees, customers, guests, vendors, etc. in a courteous, professional manner at all times Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Good communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) Ability to perform basic math, including reading a ruler/tape measure, calculating percentage over and under runs, counting loads, and adding number of pallets for a total order count Ability to read order specifications and complete (write) daily time and production paperwork Ability to be flexible, a quick learner, and adaptable to change Ability to be to work on time and maintain good attendance
