Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; understand business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, and coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Drive test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Reviewing test cases and performing Integration, Functional, and Regression Testing of Apache Hive, Apache Impala, and Snowflake;
  
• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Informatica, Ab Initio Software, Tableau, and Bitbucket;
  
• Performing testing of sub-components of larger application systems, integrating the applications with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, utilizing Python, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, Microsoft (MS) Excel, and Beyond Compare Software;
  
• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including navigation flows and process models, utilizing Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and HP Quality Center;
  
• Performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), Database, and Data Warehouse Testing for Informatica, Ab Initio Software, Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server;
  
• Conducting defect prevention meetings and tracking defects using Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Agile and Waterfall methodologies; and
  
• Designing test plans and drafts and executing test cases using Requirement Documents, Software Design Documents, Mapping Documents, and High-Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) Documents.
