JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Research Accounting , in Hershey, PA is seeking a Financial Manager. This position will oversee the Research Financial Analysts that will be responsible for all of the grant post award management of Grants and for all departments at the College of Medicine. This position is critical to the ongoing accounting operations of the College of Medicine. This position will manage 6 of the grant research financial analysts. This role will be responsible for all of the post award management of the Grants for all departments at the College of Medicine. This is a very large part of the restructure within College of Medicine's Finance and Business. This role is needed to ensure compliance with all Federal Regulations, including NIH grants, etc.

Typical Education & Experience

8+ years related experience

Bachelor's Degree or higher

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:  

• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check  
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
