The ISM Program Manager is a highly visible and strategic leadership role responsible for driving the planning, governance, coordination, and execution of the Integrated Services Management (ISM) transformation across the Steam Services business.This multi-year program is a critical business and digital transformation initiative designed to modernize and connect how Steam Services plans, schedules, executes, and manages service operations.
The leader will own the end-to-end orchestration of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives spanning multiple business functions, enterprise applications , including Salesforce and Leankor platforms, infrastructure teams, and strategic implementation partners.
Job Description
The ISM Program Leader is the chief architect and primary driver of GE Vernova’s multi-year Integrated Services Management transformation. You will own the end-to-end strategy, governance, and delivery of one of our most critical digital initiatives. By unifying outage planning, resource scheduling, and field service operations into a single, cohesive operating model, you will directly influence the operational efficiency and profitability of the Steam Power Services business. This is a high-visibility, executive-level role for a leader who excels at bridging the gap between complex digital architectures and real-world industrial execution.
Strategic Impact & Core Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Transformation
- Architect the Future: Define and execute the long-term ISM digital roadmap, translating complex business objectives into scalable, high-value technology initiatives.
- Operational Unification: Lead the convergence of fragmented processes into a unified operating model across Outage Planning, Steam Upgrades, and Field Service.
- Value Realization: Own the program’s business outcomes—drive adoption, measure ROI, and ensure the digital ecosystem delivers measurable improvements in schedule predictability and workforce productivity.
End-to-End Program Execution
- Integrated Value Streams: Oversee the lifecycle of mission-critical streams, including Demand/Resource Management, Outage Execution, and Legacy Platform Modernization (e.g., migration from ProdiGE to Leankor).
- Digital Ecosystem Ownership: Drive the implementation and integration of a sophisticated platform stack (Salesforce Field Service, Leankor, Salesforce CRM) to create a seamless flow from upstream planning to field execution.
- Governance & Accountability: Manage program financials (budgeting/forecasting), risk mitigation, and steering committee reporting for executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Partnership
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the primary liaison between Digital Technology (DT) and business operations (Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering).
- Vendor Ecosystem: Lead strategic relationships with global system integrators. Manage commercial performance, delivery quality, and SOW execution to ensure high-velocity delivery.
- Cultural Catalyst: Drive large-scale organizational change management, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement across distributed global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, IT, Business, or equivalent.
- Experience: 15+ years of success in enterprise-scale digital transformations.
- Complexity: Proven track record managing global programs exceeding $20M+ in budget and scope.
- Implementation Depth: Hands-on experience delivering large-scale ERP, CRM, or Field Service Management (FSM) platforms.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional, globally distributed teams at an executive level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: MBA or Master’s degree in a technical or management field.
- Industry Fluency: Direct experience in Energy, Utilities, or Industrial Field Services.
- Technical Literacy: Expert knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, Leankor, and complex enterprise integration architectures.
