The Opportunity
This position works out of our Princeton, NJ location in the Abbott Point of Care Division. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key health and therapeutic areas, including infectious disease, cardiometabolic, informatics, and toxicology.
As the Product Manager, US Marketing, you’ll have the chance to lead Field Support Service Offering (80%) and contribute to Core Portfolio Initiatives (20%) for the i-STAT Portfolio and i-STAT Advantage products and services. This role will play a critical part in ensuring exceptional field support, enabling seamless customer access to resources, driving the value proposition for the i-STAT Advantage brand, and supporting innovative launches.
What You’ll Work On
Field Support Service Offering & Product Transition Enablement
Develop and deliver key supporting resources to enable field support and service for new product launches and on-market product transitions.
Project manage cross-functional collaborations to optimize field support services and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Support the i-STAT TBI launch by creating tailored resources for field teams.
Create order set examples, standard operating procedures (SOPs), editable/example workflows, and IQCP templates to assist customers during product adoption.
Enabling seamless product deployment and with resources service transitions.
Digital and Self-Service Tool Development
Create and maintain digital and self-service tools, enabling customers to easily access product and service information.
Enhance the existing CRM tool to support method evaluations for implementation, ensuring it is up to date and effective.
Develop self-service resources for implementations through dedicated resource pages on the global POC website.
Value Proposition for i-STAT Advantage Services
Develop and promote the value proposition for the i-STAT Advantage brand, including a la carte and tiered bundled package offerings such as service plans.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies for these services.
Marketing Services Strategy Ownership
Own the service component of the annual marketing plan, including the development of strategy, tactics, and KPIs.
Communicate and house the plan materials within the Seismic content management system (e.g., Service and Support Powerbox).
Develop and execute digital and print materials announcing product go-lives, ensuring cohesive communication to customers and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the critical connector between field-based and Princeton teams, including field support services, implementation project managers, service plan sales, customer solutions engineers (IT), and field sales/marketing teams.
