The Interiors Sr. Global Trade Export Program Manager (individual contributor) is responsible for proactively working with the business value stream leaders/teams to provide strategic Global Trade (GT) guidance in support of military programs while maintaining compliance with all applicable GT regulations and company policies and procedures. This position will partner closely with Interiors senior leaders and value stream team members to understand program objectives, provide guidance regarding GT regulations, establish an authorization/technology transfer plan, and ensure plan execution to allow business requirements to be realized.
As a Sr. Global Trade Export Program Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Collins Global Trade Program (training, policies, processes, implementation & metrics); using digital technology and physical safeguards to manage transfers compliantly and efficiently; ensuring compliant transfers of physical goods and intangible items; sanctions and embargo compliance and addressing regulatory and policy violations to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement. This role also includes responsibilities for leading and managing projects related to authorizations and global trade, both at the Interiors and Collins level.
The ideal candidate will work hybrid to our Uniontown, OH location, though we are open to considering candidates to be based at other US Interiors locations or offering a remote option.
What You Will Do:
Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions
Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and Harmonized Tarriff Schedule (HTS)
Deployment of the Collins and Interiors Global Trade policies and procedures
Development of the Global Trade focal network for military programs
Support Regulatory Compliance investigations
Support development and delivery of formal and informal Global Trade training
Review of transactions under Collins Sanctions policy
Travel up to 5%; mostly Domestic
What You Will Learn:
Develop an understanding of non-US Export license requirements in Europe and Asia.
Gain experience with Aerospace Interiors products used on both commercial and military aircraft
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

5+ years in a Global Trade function with EAR/ITAR experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in Program or Project Management
Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry experience
Experience with SAP Global Trade Systems (GTS) module
Experience with OCR Global Trade Management
