We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Data Driven Development in Sensor Fusion for Autonomous Driving.

 

What awaits you?

• You develop a data reader pipeline for diverse datasets to enable Machine Learning-based approaches for environmental modeling and objectives in autonomous driving.
• You are responsible for developing efficientinterfaces and strategies to cope with large amounts of diverse data points.
• Defining quality control measures and identifying bottlenecks and defects is also part of the work.
• You perform proof of concept evaluations on DNN models for different tasks (Object Detection,Semantic/Panoptic Segmentation, Depth Estimation).
• You get the opportunity to explore data selectiontasks in the context of Active Learning to investigateapplicability of tracking models for data efficient training.

 
What should you bring along?

• Knowledge of Machine Learning methods, DNN, aswell as Python and common Deep Learning libraries.
• Previous experiences on training and validatingmodels for tasks in autonomous driving is a plus.
