We are seeking a Unit Assistant to assist our nursing staff in the daily operations of our facility. This is a non-clinical role that focuses on maintaining a clean and organized environment on the units and providing essential support to staff and residents. This position is ideal for individuals committed to pursuing a career as a Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing units and resident rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Restock resident rooms and assist with linen changes, clothing inventories, and laundry tasks.
• Clean and organize common areas, such as tub and shower rooms.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from programming.
• Serve as a backup receptionist after training.
• Complete mandatory in-service training and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Committed to completing a Massachusetts nursing assistant program and obtaining certification as a Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
