Job Title: Global Clinical Treatment Planning and Physics Product Specialist, Physicist

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, as a Clinical Support Specialist, Clinical Training Specialist, Medical Physicist, or a related occupation.
Job Duties: Manage incoming customer support requests regarding Varian’s Oncology products. Be an analytic problem solver who is capable of recommending solutions/corrective actions to customer application questions. Clinically assess situations/issues and determine appropriate escalation path. Work as an integral member of the complaint process, and communicates relevant information to the customer as appropriate. May also provide customer training, demo support at Trade Shows and for the Varian Sales organization, as well as formulate and review written customer support training materials. Provides product expertise and support to Global Clinical Help Desk staff who are actively working customer issues. Works closely with Clinical Help Desk Managers, Clinical Help Desk Product Specialists, and others within the Clinical Help Desk to coordinate product training as necessary. Works cross functionally with Global Standards & Content, Product Management, SDS and other stakeholders to ensure flow of product information into Clinical Help Desk. Actively works incoming customer issues from the various queues (phone, email, portal etc.) as directed by Clinical Help Desk Managers and/or as staffing levels or workload levels dictate an “all hands-on deck” approach because of volume of issues or time sensitivity. *May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. 25% international travel to America's, Europe, and Asia.
Special Requirements: Must have experience and/or academic training with each of the following:
1. Medical Physicist in a Clinical Oncology setting
2. Cancer treatment machines- radiation
3. General troubleshooting of clinical scenarios in a radiation oncology setting
License Required: Medical Physicist Certification/License
Rate of Pay: $189,275.63/year
