Job Description
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Consumer Marketing for North America will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of all consumer-focused marketing initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand management, digital, social and experiential marketing, and data-driven decision making. The VP of Consumer Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth, enhance brand equity, and ensure consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints. The VP will report directly to the CMO, NA and is a key member of the executive leadership team and will also work closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Global head of Sponsorships. The Vice President of Consumer Marketing will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and drive consumer engagement and loyalty.
- Brand Marketing: Oversee all aspects of brand marketing, including campaigns positioning and messaging. Ensure that the brand is consistently represented across all marketing channels and consumer interactions and fully integrated with the Global platform.
- Social Marketing: Lead the social marketing team to develop and execute innovative campaigns across various digital platforms for both paid and organic.
- Business Segment Priorities: Lead the marketing strategy, creative development and execution of key Visa business priorities such as Cross border, Ecommerce, Affluent and other priorities tied to the Visa 2030 strategy.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand consumer trends, preferences, and behaviors. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including product development, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and consistency in all consumer-facing activities.
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Regularly report on performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
