Sr. Product Manager - Solenoid Systems

The Product Manager for Solenoids will be responsible for the overall success and growth of the solenoid product line. This includes managing the product lifecycle, from concept through end-of-life, developing and implementing product strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.  

Your responsibility will be: 

Product Strategy and Roadmap: 

• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the solenoid product line. 

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. 

• Define product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. 

Product Development: 

• Lead the development of new products by working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to define product specifications and ensure alignment with market requirements. 

• Manage the product development process, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and validation. 

• Ensure timely and successful launch of new products and product enhancements. 

Solenoid Engineering Team Leadership: 

• Oversee and provide direction to the Solenoid Engineering team to drive innovation and technical excellence. 

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. 

• Ensure engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. 

• Drive cost improvement projects to enhance product profitability and competitiveness. 

Market Analysis and Business Development: 

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential applications for solenoids. 

• Develop business cases for new product initiatives and present to senior management. 

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional activities. 

Customer Engagement: 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. 

• Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and new product development. 

• Provide technical support and training to the sales team and customers. 

Product Lifecycle Management: 

• Monitor and manage the performance of existing products, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 

• Identify and implement product improvements and cost-saving initiatives. 

• Develop and execute plans for product phase-out and end-of-life management. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure product success. 

• Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to achieve business objectives. 

 Our requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the solenoid or electromagnetic components industry. 

• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of solenoids and their applications.
