Security Officer - Part-time - El Paso Courtyard Downtown

The Overnight Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property during nighttime hours. This role maintains a strong visible presence, conducts routine patrols, monitors activity, and responds to incidents promptly and professionally.

 

Key Duties:

• Conduct hourly patrols of hotel and exterior areas

• Monitor security cameras and access points

• Respond to guest issues, disturbances, and emergencies

• Complete security logs and incident reports

• Assist with fire safety and evacuation procedures

• Maintain a visible, professional presence

Requirements:

• Security or customer service experience preferred

• Strong communication and alertness overnight

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods

• CPR/First Aid a plus

Qualifications

 

• Patrol all guest floors, public areas, and exterior perimeters

• Check emergency exits, stairwells, and locked access points

• Monitor parking areas and loading docks

• Ensure suspicious activity is identified and reported

• note any issues, communicate with Management 

• Document patrol in logbook/app with time and findings

• Provide visible presence to deter theft and disturbances
