About the role

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Strategy and Communications department. This position is a full-time opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model

Reporting to a Chief Strategy and Communications Officer, the Digital Marketing Manager will lead email marketing strategies, manages recipient lists, conducts A/B testing, analyzes campaign performance, and designs customer journeys while ensuring deliverability. The role also involves creating social media content, producing short-form videos, leveraging analytics, and maintaining brand consistency across platforms. Additionally, the manager supports event logistics, proposes new marketing ideas, and manages vendor relationships to enhance campaign effectiveness and engagement.

You can expect to:

  • Lead email strategy, optimize cadence, and collaborate on monthly patient newsletter content while designing customer journeys and troubleshooting technical issues with internal teams and Salesforce
  • Convert email designs to custom HTML for cross-client compatibility using Stripo and Salesforce, and verify recipient lists with the data team, conduct A/B tests, and report on performance analytics
  • Manage email deliverability, propose improvements, and share best practices across the organization, identifying opportunities for testing, personalization, and new drip campaigns to increase traffic
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and plan, develop, and engage with content for diverse audiences across platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Support virtual and in-person event logistics (e.g., Facebook Live, Podcasts) and create short-form video content, while designing visual assets with Canva and Shutterstock to maintain brand consistency across channels

What is required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience with email marketing technologies, including expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in coordinating and creating social media content for organizations or brands
  • Minimum of (2) years of professional experience in graphic design, video editing, or using creative tools such as Canva
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email development, with strong analytical abilities to drive business insights and performance using tools like Adobe Analytics and Tableau
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with task management and collaboration tools such as Asana
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
  • Must be able to go into the Washington D.C. regional office a minimum of one day per week
  • Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
  • Must provide documentation of the Covid vaccine 2-dose series (or J&J 1-dose) prior to October 1, 2023, or documentation for 1-dose of the most current Covid vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as a condition of employment
  • Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $ 79,370.16 to $ 99,212.70, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
