We are seeking a junior profile joining our Payments Services team, who will focus on 1st and 2nd level customer support, dedicated to support payment transaction processing activities for German and other international banking clients. You will be responsible for ensuring contractual obligations and service level agreements are met, promoting an atmosphere that supports and develops teamwork and strong work ethics.
In this role, you will report to the Team Lead with the goal of ensuring that daily operations meet or exceed performance expectations with the quality and service standards expected. It is a great opportunity no navigate within an international team and to deepen your knowledge in payments world.
Responsibilities
Competent in support & processing of customer enquiries
Execution of bookings & research in various systems and in the international payments network of 3rd party banks
Processing of requests in various systems, including EBICS
Processing and clarification of enquiries the SWIFT environment
Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements and market standards
Implementation of the daily routines in customer traffic as well as the company's own processes
Development and establishment of improvements in service and thus ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ensuring compliance with existing SLAs including reporting
Reporting directly to the Team Lead and providing daily written and verbal information
Other tasks that relate to BPO activity.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field or minimum 1 year experience in a similar position
Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written) is a must.
Basic understanding of payment processing systems and methods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advance level in Microsoft office tools especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Enjoyment in working with clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Inherent motivation to learn daily and a proactive approach to expanding one's horizons/knowledge base and skill set.
Ability to work during public holiday, weekends and overtime to support the payment business.
*This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 24 months with renewal possibility.
