Systems/Electrical Engineer - PNT/NAVWAR

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer or Electrical Engineer in support of the newly established All-Domain Sensing (ADS) Cross-Functional Team (CFT). The ADS CFT, under Army Futures Command (AFC), accelerates the alignment of integrated sensing capabilities by informing requirements that harness the power of data, contribute to decision speed, facilitate informed maneuver, and increase lethality. ADS CFT is headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland. Join the tip of the spear as ADS CFT enables leaders through integrated and ubiquitous sensing across All Domains, enhancing understanding and decision-making for the Army of 2040.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and present project status, long-range plans, and program accomplishments in relation to program objectives, budgetary constraints, schedules, technical requirements, and risk.
• Analyze affordability and planning for unique technologies, modifications, and integration guidance for design reviews, milestone reviews, program reviews, program strategy evolution and modernization reviews, and system unique reviews.
• Collaborate with respective technology leads and program managers to develop technical assessments and briefings, input, and recommendations.
• Develop technical inputs and integration guidance across Multi-Sensor Dominance, and Operational Enablers lines of effort within the CFT.
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must have an active/current TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Familiarity with DoD and Army Science and Technology (S&T) development, Acquisition/Program Office, and Requirements processes, funding sources, and organizations.
• Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) experience
• Must have expertise with all segments of the GPS enterprise (Space, Ground, and User Segments).
• Should be familiar with GPS modernization to include the Military GPS User Equipment using M code.
• Must be familiar with GNSS constellations and Alt PNT concepts to include Signals of Opportunity, visual navigation, and satellite navigation using LEO and GEO orbits.
• Should be familiar with PNT antenna technologies to include fixed and controlled radiation pattern antennas (FRPA and CRPA).
• Navigational Warfare (NAVWAR) Experience
• Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) experience
• Prior Military/Operational Experience in one or more of these areas.
Desired:
• Working knowledge of GOAT and/or other PNT modelling software.
• Working knowledge of PNT solutions that are fused and/or coupled with other sources (external and organic to the platform and receiver).
• Basic network architecture
• Understands open system architecture initiatives
• Joint Forces experience
