Job Summary

The Finance Analytics & Transformations team is a dynamic and integral part of Finance. Our mission is to collaborate closely with functional and technical stakeholders across the company, driving key initiatives that enhance and scale our business processes to enable analytics. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven  Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing datasets, pipelines, and architectures. You will interact with other teams, including marketing, channel operations, sales operations, deal desk, and business systems, to form a data-driven culture in the Finance organization leveraging metrics and KPIs and strategic analysis on company performance and trends. The role requires the following capabilities: excellent communication skills, especially the ability to respectfully challenge and influence; strong problem-solving/analytical skills, strong data management skills, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Partner with non-technical teams within the finance organization to identify critical analytical problems and find innovative solutions with data

• Develop end-to-end reporting process to empower stakeholders with dashboards and tools

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes

• Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies

• Support 8x8’s Finance organization with reporting, dashboards, metrics, KPIs

• Own data pipeline, data architecture, reporting, and KPI automation

• Conduct statistical analysis, modeling, and metric development to discover insights for better decision-making

• Deliver monthly/quarterly quantitative and qualitative analysis of the business' financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted

• Meet deliverables and requests from business partners, corporate FP&A, accounting, and other cross-functional teams

• Fulfill ad-hoc and regular requests to drive high corporate performance and to assist with executive decision-making

• Develop a deep understanding of the finance organization landscape and partner with finance leaders to align business and fin
