Ad Sales Intern: LA - Summer 2025

Your New Role
This internship will be located in the LA area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule. The WBD Summer Ad Sales Internship Program offers undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to work at one of the largest media companies in the world. As an Ad Sales Intern, you get the opportunity to work across all our US networks while participating in real-world projects and gaining hands-on work experience.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Interact with Sales to understand Ad Sales and the Media Industry
- Work Closely with Account Executives by attending various meetings and working on tasks/projects
- Learn about all WBDs multimedia platforms
- Assist Account Coordinators in their day-to-day tasks
- Learn about various Ad Sales topics and then present weekly on that topic (Advanced Advertising, Linear VS. Streaming..etc)
- Build relationships with other Ad Sales departments (Pricing, Planning & Operations, Linear Commerical Operations, Marketing, Billing & Direct Response)
Qualifications & Experience
Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups
High level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Learns and applies new information, concepts, and techniques in area of practice
Great verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving skills and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and team player
Must be able to work collaboratively with team members
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
