About the Position
Venetian River Club is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities and Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain the quality, safety, and appearance of our facilities through preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily upkeep of buildings, equipment, and common areas.

Job purpose
Provide members, guests, and team members with facilities and an environment that is well-maintained, including both the interior and exterior of the buildings.
Duties and responsibilities
- Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of all facilities.
- Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facilities.
- Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facilities
- Monitors restrooms, offices and storage rooms and perform maintenance procedures as required to ensure safe and sanitary conditions
- Completes reports as required
- Ensures compliance with all Health Department regulations
- Completes daily, bi-weekly, weekly and monthly task lists
- Responds to emergency after-hours problems and alarms
- General repair tasks to include plumbing, electrical, painting, woodworking, etc
- Monitors and maintains equipment and operating and cleaning supplies
- Protect the assets of the Club.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Two years of facility maintenance experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
Working conditions
Work is primarily indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas and write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift to 80 lbs., up to 40 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 50 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for
