PSE's Operations Support team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Fleet Coordinator position!

Job Description
Supports fleet operations by coordinating maintenance, repairs, and compliance inspections of PSE vehicles and equipment. Assists with vehicle acquisition and disposal processes. Collaborates with internal departments, drivers, and vendors to ensure efficient fleet services. Responds to vehicle assignment needs during emergency calls and storm events.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically, and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
This job is considered “safety sensitive” as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates, schedules, tracks, and processes invoices for the preventative maintenance and roadside repairs of all PSE fleet equipment.
- Updates, monitors, and ensures accurate record keeping of vehicle maintenance and repairs in SAP.
- Coordinates major and minor vehicle and equipment repairs, outfitting, recalls, warranty issues, preventive maintenance, and compliance inspections.
- Coordinates the acquisition and disposal of PSE’s vehicles and equipment throughout the company, facilities, and service centers, ensuring the sales proceeds are distributed appropriately.
- Performs daily business activities to include invoice processing, licensing, inventory control, imputed income processing, and PSE’s motor vehicle incident program.
- Manages internal and external customer relationships.
- Utilizes SAP and vendor reports to monitor fuel cost and consumption and deter fraudulent activity.
- Utilizes Telematics to monitor vehicle assignments, vehicle maintenance, and safety inbox events.
- Establishes, coordinates, and monitors vendor contracts for fleet services and supplies to ensure operational achievement of performance goals, customer service, and productivity levels that are commensurate with contract standards.
- Maintains all vehicle accident and infraction records through the online Vehicle Accident Reports portal. Provides HR with data as requested.
- Partners with Standards and Compliance and provides information as requested.
- Maintains an understanding of driver responsibilities and State and Federal regulations to support drivers in the safe and legal operation of PSE Fleet vehicles.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of fleet strategies and best practices.
- Responds to and coordinates the assignment of company pool vehicles during after-hours emergency calls and storm response.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in logistics, business management, accounting, supply chain management, or other related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- One (1) year of work experience to include fleet operations, vendor management, customer service, logistics, or other relevant work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet customer needs.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Detail orientated.
- Current Washington State Driver’s License.
- 24/7 availability to support emergency operations.
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude to include knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in SAP.

The pay range for this position is $70,200.00
