We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our multi-specialty Ophthalmology providers in Santa Monica. You will support them by documenting patient encounters and assisting with administrative duties to ensure efficient clinical operations. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Document accurate and complete patient histories, exams, progress notes, procedures, clinical impressions, plans, and follow-up
- Transfer lab and radiology results into the chart from electronic systems or dictation
- Pend orders and referrals in CareConnect for physician signature
- Print and review After Visit Summaries with patients and provide educational materials
- Assist with preparation of appeal letters for treatments or testing
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Salary Range: $25.66 Hourly
This is a part-time per diem position. May convert to Career.

Required:- Ability to perform under the pressure of frequent interruptions and distractions.
- Ability to proofread very detailed materials and monitor work accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively and diplomatically interact with others.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and convey information
- Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain equanimity in the face of resistance, indifference or hostility.
