We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Intern to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience creating robust dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis processes.
• Translate financial and operational data into visual, actionable insights for stakeholders across departments.
• Work closely with FP&A analysts and business partners to understand reporting needs and enhance data models.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, Excel, SQL databases) to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Support the monthly close and forecast process by preparing supporting schedules, trend analyses, and presentations.
• Identify automation opportunities in reporting processes and recommend solutions using Power BI and DAX functions.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data infrastructure and improve report refresh efficiency.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI (please include a portfolio or examples if available).
• Strong proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL or DAX is a plus.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and FP&A fundamentals.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience
• Previous internship or project work in a corporate FP&A or finance function.
• Experience with data modeling, Power Query, or connecting Power BI to cloud-based data sources (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, etc.).
