The Civil Solutions Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a full-time remote Business Process Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Leidos Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) in support of the U.S. National Science Foundation’s United States Antarctic Program mission.
This role works within a team focused on delivering innovative technology solutions to address real customer needs. We are looking for a data guru, to become a recognized leader across the organization in all things data. As a Business Process Analyst, you will be adept at working across functional teams to identify process issues and solutions, delivering transformative results with your skills in data collection, management, analysis and visualization.
Due to contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
Must obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start date. This process could take up to 4 months.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000 annually.

About the Antarctic Support Contract:
Leidos Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) is the prime contractor to the National Science Foundation (NSF) in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). Leidos supports the NSF’s Office of Polar Program’s Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics by aligning with their Mission and Vision Statements:
Vision: Expanding our scientific reach in Antarctica through increased operational and logistical effectiveness.
Mission: To provide the operational and logistical platform necessary for the U.S. to conduct world-class science in Antarctica and maintain its active and influential presence on the continent.
Leidos ASC provides science and logistics support for approximately 150 science and technical events across three geographically remote research stations; McMurdo Station, Palmer Station, and South Pole Station and several deep field sites across Antarctica. Each station or field site supports world class research across multiple science disciplines. The planning and implementation of science support requirements in Antarctica is a critical part of our mission.

The Challenge:
Leads the Data Working Group, providing guidance and mentorship to data workers and the data-curious from across the organization. Includes identification and promulgation of best practices, promotion and support for upskilling, technical assistance and troubleshooting with data projects.
Works across ASC organization, partner agencies and customer to provide communications, reports, and integration of data collection, processes and outputs. Working to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches, interacts in a professional and tactful manner and provides efficient response to customer requests.
Providing technical leadership in delivering an innovative product, service or, at higher levels, a combination of products and services that address a customer's specific business problem.
Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, workflow definition, output requirements, and input data acquisition.
Develop technical solutions that will require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses to understand the impact on the end-product solution.
Leads formal and informal teams using influence and expertise. Builds a strong team environment to enable the organization to resolve challenges, conflicts and problems. Brings a positive demeanor and can-do attitude in the face of challenges and uncertainties.
