Dentologie is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant (at least six months of DA experience) to provide outstanding patient care in our Evanston, IL location!
Our Evanston practice (1601 Sherman, Suite B, Evanston, IL 60201) is located at fountain square in downtown Evanston and comprised of 7 vibrant, spacious operatories. Nearby, there is a wide variety of brunch and dinner locations as well as shopping at Target and Whole Foods. Dawes Park is a pleasant recreation not far away along the shore of Lake Michigan.

Schedule:
- Monday: 7:30am-2:30pm
- Tuesday: 1:30pm-8:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:30am-2:30pm
- Thursday: 1:30pm-8:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties.
- Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of patients during a variety of operative treatment procedures.
- Provide a 10-star Patient experience.
- Contribute positively to an engaging corporate culture.
- Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures.
- Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, orthodontics, pediatric, endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery.
- Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4 handed dentistry).
- Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair while preparing them for treatment.
- Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment.
- Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.
- Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
- Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment.
- Monitor daily supplies for restocking.
- Assists the dentist in providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Follows infection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and all clinical settings.
- Required: at least six months of dental assistant experience.
