Technician, General Facilites Maintenance

What you'll do...

As a Technician, you will be a part of the warehouse and recycling team where you will be responsible for all facility equipment. This includes overseeing the picking up and disposing of all recyclables, trash, appliances, and electronic equipment that need to be sent out. You will be on a nonstop moving schedule to ensure all equipment is being moved to the correct destination.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm

You’ll make an impact by…

• Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspecting, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment.
• Determining replacement needs and documenting preventive maintenance activities.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

• You have experience with power equipment.
• You have experience working in a Shipping & Receiving department.
• You have previously worked in a warehouse setting.
• You have a great attitude and consider yourself to be a role-player.
• You are adaptable to change.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
• License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located.
• Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid Driver's License.
