This is an excellent opportunity for a Public Affairs Constituency Programs Coordinator (40 hours/week) throughout Wisconsin.

PPWI’s compensation philosophy is rooted in equity. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate’s applicable experience and internal equity. The Regional Constituency Coordinator pay starts from $53,081.00 per year.
Additional $1.50 per hour for bilingual (English/Spanish)
PURPOSE OF POSITION: This person will work to create a climate where reproductive and sexual health is protected and promoted and where advocacy and visibility are increased on the local, state and federal levels.  This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the Public Affairs organizing and outreach plan in regional areas or constituency programs such as the Black Organizing Program, Raiz Program, and Gen Action. This position is responsible for providing internal and external advocacy training to build the organization’s advocacy effectiveness.  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: · Must be committed to excellent customer service and the vision and values of PPWI. · Must be committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, especially as pertains to the communities served in our constituency programs · Must be committed to comprehensive, voluntary family planning programs and a woman's right to make personal decisions regarding health care, including abortion. · Must possess initiative and have proven grassroots organizing skills.· Effective communication—orally and in writing, ability to work cooperatively and effectively with community partners, staff, grasstop supporters, and volunteers to accomplish program goals is required  · Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs. · Must have the ability to think creatively and strategically, and work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline driven environment.· Must have an understanding of best practice organizing tactics; follow through on assigned projects; and be able to work as a member of a team. · The position requires flexibility, and strong presentation and interpersonal skills.  · Able to use decision-making, independent judgment and/or action, creativity, problem analysis, and use of discretion.· Open and able to learn new ways of thinking and methods to approach communications, relationship-building, and advocacy.  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Two years of related experience such as in community, grassroots, or issue campaign organizing. Must have demonstrated experience leading work teams, volunteer teams, and/or interns.Experience leading training with adult learners and/or experience in public speaking is preferred.  SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
