Primary Responsibility:
Selects and picks customer products in accordance with standard procedures. Places selected items in assigned areas. Ensures a safe and clean work environment to prevent injuries. Sets an example of high standards for other Pullers in the department. Leading the tobacco order selector team in accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Functions:
· Pulls electronically selected items on customer orders into totes and/or on pallets
· Positions pulled items on customer order from selection area to shipping area
· Responsible for meeting company standards for productivity
· Responsible for maintaining quality control on all products handled
· Communicates assigned pullers productivity and performance with Puller Supervisor
· Creates a productive and safe work environment for pulling team
· Maintains assigned equipment
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
· Preferred minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations
· Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties
· Good communications skills
· Good leadership skills
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
Educational Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged walking and standing
· Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
