Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Financial Aid Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing and processing financial transactions for grants. Your day-to-day will involve:
Creating and Processing Purchase Orders: Manage grant agreements in state accounting systems, adhering to state statutes and policies.
Reviewing Invoices and Payment Requests: Ensure accuracy and compliance with grant agreements and state regulations.
Recording Orders: Maintain meticulous records in state accounting systems.
Handling Document Management: Route documents for electronic signatures and assist in resolving payment processing errors.
Providing Top-Notch Customer Service: Support DHHS staff and stakeholders through phone, email, and teleconferences.

Work Details:
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wage: $18.811 per hour
Dress Code: Business Casual
Requirements/ Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of post high school coursework or experience in: administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields or in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.
Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma with four years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a similar field, or equivalent education and experience.
Skills Needed: Proficiency in accounting principles and procedures.
Ability to follow complex procedures, perform detailed calculations, and analyze financial data.
