SUMMARY OF THE ROLE 

The Maintenance Coordinator (Mechanical) ensures maintenance, including breakdown, corrective, and preventive tasks, is completed efficiently at the RGLNG facility. This role collaborates with Planning, Scheduling, Permitting, and Warehouse & Procurement teams to ensure safe execution with necessary parts and equipment. The primary responsibility of this role is to support supervisors by managing planning and preparation, allowing them to focus on field execution. Safety and quality are top priorities, supporting the reliable and sustainable operation of the asset. This position is located in Brownsville, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role is part of the extended Mechanical Maintenance Leadership Team.
  • Demonstrate proactive safety leadership to the entire Maintenance team.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the mechanical execution teamwork activities.
  • Maintain a positive HSSE reporting culture.
  • Be an active and engaged team member ensuring a One-Team approach, setting the teams up for success.
  • Coordinates SIMOPS between all RGLNG teams, Specialist Vendors and Contractors upholding the One-Team approach.
  • Support supervisors by managing planning and preparation, allowing them to focus on field execution.
  • Review and approve work schedules for maintenance execution, as per RGLNG scheduling procedure.
  • Develop Permits for work execution activities.
  • Develop Risk Assessments for work execution as required.
  • Ensure Vendors and Contractors are ready for work execution.
  • Ensure tooling, equipment, access and correct materials are available for T-0 work execution.
  • Complete all required maintenance reporting, including updating the CMMS system as following company work processes.
  • Ensure personal training and competency is up to date.
  • Provide support during the Major Maintenance Turnaround events as required.
  • Provide coverage for the Maintenance Supervisor as required. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experienced in the execution of Mechanical Maintenance activities.
  • Competent at interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation i.e.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP or Similar)
  • Experience with Permitting processes
  • Experience with Warehouse and Logistics
  • Experience with Contractor coordination and Planning processes
  • Experience working under an MOC process.
  • Experience in the execution of Turnarounds.
  • Relevant LNG Mechanical Pipefitter maintenance experience including fabrication and/or repair of piping, etc. using various welding processes as required (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) / blinding of pipes, vessels, tanks, exchangers, etc. to prepare equipment for operations and maintenance.
  • Mechanical LNG experience including turbo machinery, compressors, loading arms, PSV���s, pumps, motors, vessels, valves, actuators, fin fans and flange management.
  • Mechanical LNG experience including Turbo machinery, compressors, loading arms, PSV’s, pumps, motors, vessels, valves, actuators, fin fans and flange management a must. 
  • Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a “hands-on” method of working.
  • Ability to get Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Mechanical or similar and NCCER (Millwright/Pipefitter/Boilermaker).
  • 10+ years' experience in Hydrocarbon/Petrochemical industries.
  • 5+ years' exper
