Step into Your New Role

As a Power Market Program Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding regional opportunities in the Energy market, leading both the engagement with clients and the delivery of our services in the SoCal/West region footprint. Our projects will center on infrastructure improvements for major Utility clients. This position is available in any of our southern California offices (Los Angeles, Riverside, Laguna Hills, San Diego).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive all phases of project execution, encompassing organization, risk mitigation, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial oversight, safety leadership, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships and contracts for intricate, multi-disciplinary Electric and Gas Utility projects.
  • Champion staff development through effective leadership, mentorship, and the support of professional career aspirations.  
  • Directly oversee business development efforts, strategically assigning resources, defining client needs, addressing concerns proactively, and managing engineering resources within budget.
  • Lead and contribute to technical cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and maximizing customer value.
  • Collaborate on design and construction management programs, actively seeking continuous improvement in process development and execution.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal technical and client service teams, as well as within client organizations.
  • Ensure clear and impactful communication across all internal and external project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in civil, mechanical, environmental, chemical engineering, or related field.
  • 9-10+ years of progressive leadership and professional experience with an engineering or utility firm.
  • 5-6 years of project and client management experience in the Energy market with knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing relationships with clients and growing programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven talent at business development.
  • Client service management skills and proposal preparation experience.
  • Strong team building and communications skills.
  • Effective team leadership and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude for supervising, training, developing, and mentoring junior staff.

Salary Range: $131,000-$218,000.
