T5 NC - Lube Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Courtesy Position:

• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.

Hood Position:

• Inspect and top off fluids (excluding brake fluid) per manufacturer recommendations.
• Retrieve and add oil as needed.

Pit Position:

• Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and grease chassis fittings.

Write-Up Position:

• Assist customers in selecting oil types and additional services.
• Process payments for services performed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Hold a sign to attract customers periodically throughout the day.
• Assist the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager with opening and closing procedures.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathroom areas.
• Stay aware of vehicle conditions and report any concerns.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
• Requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform other physical movements for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Requires the use of hands for tasks involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
