This role ensures the eCommerce and Digital Transformation agenda is effectively advanced by leading strategic initiatives, managing executive-level communications and storytelling, overseeing governance processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders. Acting as an integrator, strategist, and operator, the Director plays a critical role in maximizing the impact of the eCommerce and Digital Transformation domain.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p><i>Strategic Planning &amp; Execution</i></p><ul><li><p>Support the eCommerce and Digital Transformation domain in defining and delivering the enterprise digital and technology strategy.</p></li><li><p>Translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate domain-level planning sessions and ensure alignment between digital, technology, and business priorities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>Office Leadership &amp; Governance</i></p><ul><li><p>Supports the SVP, e-Commerce &amp; Digital Transformation in executive governance processes, including preparation for board, executive committee, and steering group meetings.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely, accurate reporting on technology investments, KPIs, and enterprise digital transformation progress.</p></li><li><p>Track and manage progress against goals and objectives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>Executive Communications &amp; Engagement</i></p><ul><li><p>Draft, review, and manage executive communications, presentations, and updates on behalf of the SVP, e-Commerce &amp; Digital Transformation.</p></li><li><p>Ensure consistent messaging of the digital/technology vision to stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>Stakeholder Alignment &amp; Relationship Building</i></p><ul><li><p>Build trusted relationships across with e-Commerce &amp; Digital Transformation leadership team and their directs, functional leaders, and external partners.</p></li><li><p>Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively address risks, roadblocks, or misalignment.</p></li><li><p>Serve as a connector across the leadership team, ensuring collaboration and alignment on priorities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b>:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field &amp; Master’s degree or MBA required.</p></li><li><p>12+ years of experience in technology strategy, operations, consulting, or related leadership roles.</p></li><li><p>Strong track record in enterprise digital/technology transformation and governance.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to distill complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.</p></li><li><p>Experience in program management, portfolio management, or chief of staff-style roles highly desirable.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to influence and build relationships across senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Success Profile:</b></p><ul><li><p>Strategic Integrator - Ability to connect the dots between strategy, operations, and execution.</p></li><li><p>Trusted Advisor - Ability to serve as a thought partner and sounding board for the SVP, e-Commerce &amp; Digital Transformation</p></li><li><p>Operator - Proven ability to lead discipline, structure, and rigor into processes and programs.</p></li><li><p>Communicator - Ability to craft clear, compelling messages for executive and board audiences.</p></li><li><p>Change Leader - Ability to guide organizations through transformation with clarity, empathy, and accountability.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><b><b>What Cencora offers</b></b></b></h1><p></p><p><span>We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
