The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:
Join our BCI team as a Customer Support Specialist in Anderson, SC, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing our customer service and administrative operations. In this position, you'll manage administrative tasks, purchasing, and mail handling while providing exceptional support to both our customers and internal teams. With a focus on organization and collaboration, you'll work closely with the Operations Manager or General Manager, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of company operations to ensure smooth processes. Responsibilities:
• Manages daily administrative operations of the department such as Receiving and acknowledging Purchase orders to Customers, creating and maintaining work orders.
• Responsible for accurate inventory management. Conducts periodic cycle counts, assists with Physical Inventory, investigate inventory variances to identify root cause, implement corrective / preventative actions to resolve systemic issues.
• Manages daily customer service correspondence, which includes responding to emails and phone calls, order entry, pricing issues, customer problem resolution, and paperwork for shipping and receiving activities.
• Oversee maintenance of department records.
• Oversees and provides personal computer functions such as plant schedules and special reports, correspondence, and database management.
• May aid in coordinating special program/project development and planning.
• May participate and/or serve on committees and task forces.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Ability to analyze, develop, establish, and maintain efficient office workflow and administrative processes.
• Knowledge of company accounting procedures involving procurement and travel.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
