Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services’ Defense & Intelligence Portfolio is seeking for a Software Engineer with a strong desire to have a positive impact on National Security. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the client and have a direct impact on the mission working in an Agile development environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with security, operations, testing and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
- Design, develop and modify software systems.
- Test their software and perform code reviews
- Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients.
- Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.
- Design and developing services using Lambda, SQS and other cloud offerings within AWS.
- Develop applications using React, Spring-boot, Spark and Java.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing software applications
- Experience designing with cloud services such as AWS, Azure etc..
- Experience testing software
Bonus points if you have:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's Degree
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
