The Opportunity

We are actively seeking a SolidWorks Drafter for a 3-month contract to join our mechanical engineering group at our Lenexa, Kansas AGI facility. In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to create component drawings, assembly drawings, drafting revisions, and accurate database entries of AGI products.

The Team

Our team consists of Mechanical Design Engineers with diverse experience. We collaborate closely with the Product Managers and Production Department. The SolidWorks Drafter will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Fluent using SolidWorks drafting and creating detailed drawings
• Accurate database entry and revisions of product Bill of Materials
• Drawing creation and revision upkeep of documents for manufacturing
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines for product development and product revisions

Qualifications

• Proven experience modeling and drafting utilizing SolidWorks
• Experience managing and maintaining Bill of Materials
• Experience with GD&T
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and accomplish tasks
• Commitment to excellence, pride in work, and strong work ethic
