SECURITY OFFICER-Part time

<p><span><span>The position of Security Officer ensures the safety of company assets and the welfare of guests and Team Members. </span></span></p> <ul><li><span>Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of guests and fellow Team Members. </span></li><li><p><span>Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide security protection for guests, pavilion and casino property. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist with all monetary transactions between the casino cage, gaming tables and slots in compliance with ICS and as required by management. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Comply with Underage Gaming, Responsible Gaming and Liquor Control regulations. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist injured guests and employees. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Be alert and react promptly to suspicious persons or disturbing incidents on property. </span></p></li><li><p><span>React promptly to disturbances on the footprint of the property as required. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Make every attempt to keep your duties discreet and confidential. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive company vehicle as needed. </span></p></li><li><span>Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies</span><span><span>.</span></span></li><li><p><span><span>Perform other duties as assigned. </span></span></p></li></ul> <ul><li><span><strong>Must be 21 years of age or older</strong></span></li><li><span><strong>Must have valid driver’s license.</strong></span></li><li><span>High School Diploma/GED required.</span></li><li><span>Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.</span></li><li><p><span><span>Must be able to obtain &amp; maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.</span></span></p></li><li><span><span>Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk during shifts.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Requires bending, stooping pushing, kneeling, and reaching overhead.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Excellent guest service and communication skills.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.</span></span></li><li><span>Ability to read, write and speak English.</span></li><li><span>Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.</span></li><li><span>Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.</span></li><li><span>Possess effective learning skills.</span></li><li><span>Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.</span></li></ul><p><span><span><strong><u>Salary Range:</u></strong> $17.50-$18.25 per hour (Depending on experience)</span></span></p><p><span><span><strong><u>Benefits</u>:  Part Time</strong></span></span></p><p><span><span>401(k), Paid Time Off, Education Assistance, Team Member Discounts</span></span></p>
