Your Responsibilities
As a Tactical Customer Support Specialist for John Deere's Ag & Turf Sales & Marketing Division, located in the Des Moines, IA area, you will drive increased customer experience by coaching and providing on-the-ground support for systems and process changes. These efforts will promote dealer centralized and connected support capabilities and Solution as a Service business model implementation. As part of these activities, you will communicate with key collaborators to ensure progress on initiatives and identify gaps or support needed to ensure consistent execution of our strategy. - Routinely travel to assigned dealer locations
- Ensure a positive customer experience through evolving business model changes
- Serve as the key contact for field teams as challenges arise
- Consistently collaborate with mission-critical stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Be the in-field expert when it comes to system integration, process optimization, execution, and performance for the geography you serve
- Provide visibility to key performance indicators as it relates to progress and implementation of customer support strategies
- Other select customer support activities including but not limited to; Customer problem resolution, customer and/or dealer training, farm-show set up and support

- Outstanding ability to develop trusting and respectful relationships with people of varying work styles, backgrounds, and leadership levels
- Ability to effectively manage parallel projects, overcome obstacles, and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Experience in the areas of customer support, marketing, and/or sales with customer or dealer interaction regarding products, parts, and/or service
- Microsoft Office Tools knowledge (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 50%
What Makes You Stand Out
- Demonstrated success of required skillsets in the agricultural or manufacturing industry
- Data and analytics capabilities to develop actionable and meaningful insights
- Experience with Negotiation and Conflict Resolution strategies
- 1 or more years of experience with John Deere Centralized & Connected Support Strategy
- 1 or more years of practical experience with John Deere machinery and equipment
- Awareness of the John Deere Channel and John Deere field team structure
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences, Marketing, or equivalent related work experience
