Job Summary
- Responsible for leading and coordinating Embedded Human Resource Business Partners across multiple departments. Works to ensure the overall mission of aligning business objectives with Employees and Leaders in designated departments are successful. Serves as a consultant to Leaders on Human Resources related issues. Partners with People Department Centers of Excellence to deliver Positively Outrageous Service to Leaders and Employees.
- This Sr Manager HRBP is responsible for leading and coordinating Human Resource Business Partners across Technology and Finance, and they serve as the HR Advisor to Southwest's CIO and CFO. This role works to ensure the overall mission of aligning business objectives with Employees and Leaders in designated departments are successful, and they partner closely with People Department Centers of Excellence.

Responsibilities
- Act as a consultant to department's Sr. Leadership Team by analyzing People issues such as retention and morale and recommending solutions in partnership with People Department Centers of Excellence
- Collaborate with the People Department Leadership Team to develop an integrated short-term and long-term HR vision and strategy that aligns with overall business priorities and goals
- Serve as an advisor by appropriately challenging Leaders, while maintaining strong business partnerships and relationships with assigned departments, executives, and Leaders applying a high degree of confidence
- Coach and advise individual contributors on the development of competencies and skills needed to achieve Employee needs and future aspirations
- Contribute to the business strategy by helping business functional areas to identify, prioritize, and build Employee centered capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes in alignment with business goals
- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives
- Facilitate talent content to all levels of Employees up to executives
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Skilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organization's strategic plan
- Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among unrelated events)
