Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and programming custom sUAS, with extensive expertise in Ardupilot, ATAK, and carbon fiber manufacturing. The candidate must be an expert in radio setups, capable of developing and performing flight tests, and integrating advanced sensors onto sUAS platforms. 

Design and develop custom sUAS tailored to specific mission requirements.

Program and configure sUAS using Ardupilot software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Experience and expertise in ATAK Integration.

Integrate sUAS systems with ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) for enhanced situational awareness and operational effectiveness.

Perform carbon fiber manufacturing to create lightweight and durable components for sUAS.

Set up and configure radio systems for sUAS, ensuring robust and reliable communication links.

Develop comprehensive flight test plans to evaluate the performance and capabilities of sUAS.

Conduct flight tests, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance sUAS performance.

Integrate advanced sensors onto sUAS platforms for various applications, including surveillance, mapping, and data collection.

Ensure seamless integration of sensors with sUAS systems for accurate and reliable data acquisition.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and programming custom sUAS.

Expert knowledge of Ardupilot software.

Proficiency in integrating sUAS with ATAK.

Hands-on experience in carbon fiber manufacturing.

Expertise in setting up and configuring radio systems for sUAS.

Demonstrated ability to develop and perform flight tests.

Extensive experience in integrating advanced sensors onto sUAS platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in sUAS Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with other sUAS platforms and software.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards for sUAS operations.

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or working towards.
