Senior IAM Engineer

The team you will be a part of:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team provides services for Nokia's workforce and business-to-business domains. Our diverse global team maintains over a dozen IAM-related services in legacy on-premises and modern cloud landscapes. Nokia IAM is currently focused on renewing services to leverage cloud platform capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced LDAP and authentication engineer to support Nokia IAM services in a senior engineering role. The preferred candidate will have experience working across several IAM ecosystem services and will possess a diverse skillset. Senior IAM Engineers most often interface with IAM projects, Service Management, surrounding SME’s, and the support organization.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of the team, you will:

• Support RADIUS, directory, and authentication engineering demands for IAM services
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and installations of directory, RADIUS, and surrounding IAM services
• Work with IAM customers to support their application integration to IAM and migration to newer service instances
• Support monitoring and data management solution creation through concepts, scripts, etc.
• Support IAM third tier support to solve difficult problem cases 
• Participate in cloud migration and future projects as SME
• Maintain service configuration, and proactively manage service risks
• Participate in service planning

You have:

• 5+ years of hands-on LDAP, RADIUS, and authentication experience
• 10+ years of IT experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics and communication background
• Strong understanding of LDAP v3 directory services, RADIUS, Linux platforms, networking, firewalls, PKI, and TLS
• High proficiency with Unix/Linux operating system commands, utilities, and scripting
• Incident, problem, and service request ticketing experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent verbal and written English language and communication skills

Preferred candidates will also have:

• Experience with Identity and Access Management services or projects
• Experience working on ForgeRock Directory Services
• Bash, Python, PHP, and Java experience
• Database experience
• GCP and Azure experience
