Dishwasher - Roca & Martillo Restaurant

Legends is seeking Dishwashers for the Roca & Martillo Restaurant at The Rock at La Cantera. 

THE ROLE

The Dishwasher will clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

THE ROCK AT LA CANTERA

Partnered with the NBA San Antonio Spurs, The Rock at La Cantera is a 50-acre development which includes the Victory Capital Performance Center, Frost Plaza outdoor event space, and the Tuscan inspired Roca and Martillo Restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Washing all china, glass, silverware, pots and pans, ensuring a steady supply.
• Prioritizing plates, bowls, silverware, pots and all other kitchenware throughout service.
• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, mixers, etc.
• Emptying plates, bowls, and cookware of debris prior to washing.
• Sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors daily.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Assembling, maintaining, and breaking down the dish washing machine.
• Transporting food and equipment throughout the restaurant, as needed.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with consistent reaching, bending, wiping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively listen, understand directions, and communicate effectively.
• Must be available to work extended and flexible schedules, including weekend and holidays.
