Service & Applications Engineer - Chemical Analysis

Analytik Jena US, a company of the Endress+Hauser Group, is looking for a Chemical Analysis Service & Applications Engineer to join their team in the West Coast region of the United States.   

Role + Responsibilities  

• Preventative maintenance, service installations, training, and chemistry applications of instruments at customer sites 
• Perform IQ/OQ on ICP-MS, ICP-OES, EA, and/or TOC analytical instruments  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose via remote diagnostics and phone 
• Conduct customer training and perform chemistry samples  

Qualification + Profile  

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to Chemistry, Biological sciences, or engineering. Relevant majors may include Biochemistry, Biomedical engineering, or other related disciplines. Alternatively, substantial work experience or an associate degree combined with relevant experience will also be considered. 
• Experience with ICP-MS and/or ICP-OES 
• 2+ years of experience servicing chemical analysis instruments preferred 
• IQOQ, GMP and/or GLP knowledge preferred 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs  
• Must live in the assigned territory with a valid driver’s license with clean driving record 
• Willingness to travel approximately 55-70%, overnight included

The anticipated pay range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary depending on the education, skills, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
