In this vital role you will advance analytical reporting across Global Development Operations by collaborating with key business stakeholders and GDO leaders to deliver actionable business intelligence, foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Successfully partnering with cross-functional team members, to lead reporting and analytics needs within Patient Data Reporting, to ensure delivery of innovative analytical solutions

  • Leveraging knowledge of Electronic Data Capture systems (RAVE) and analytical skills to drive forward improvement projects and support business processes

  • Directly managing and supervising improvement projects related to vendor services, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of vendor products directed at providing analytical reporting to support GDO.

  • Deliver insights, business intelligence, and management analytics to support informed decision-making that aligns with the overarching strategies of Global Networks and Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Prioritize business needs and manage expectations for results.

  • Provides analytical oversight aligning business processes, systems, and reports to enable development of analytical tools which will support data business decisions

  • Uses programming, database and system skills to assist with the creation of analytical/automation tools

  • Streamline efficient and effective methods for business process automation

  • Perform quality oversight including quality gate controls validating deployment releases

  • Plan, track, and ensure execution of products and services via Functions Service Providers (FSPs)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree OR

  • Master’s degree and 2 years of clinical systems and analytical reporting experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of clinical systems and analytical reporting experience OR

  • Associate’s degree and 8 years of clinical systems and analytical reporting experience OR

  • High school diploma / GED and 10years of clinical systems and analytical reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Clinical Trail oversight (Site Management, Data Management, etc.) with strong analytical experience supporting a clinical development organization

  • Advanced degree or work experience in computer science, math, statistics, or a related field

  • Solid work experience in life sciences or medically related field, including biopharmaceutical clinical product development

  • Knowledge and understanding of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and/or Patient Data

  • Prior experiencing working with report development applications such as Spotfire, Tableau and Power BI

  • Strong experience with programming languages (Python, SQL, SAS and/or R)

  • Data modeling and data architecture knowledge/understanding

  • Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, classification, or other pattern recognition technology.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Strong understanding of the concepts of clinical research and drug development

  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), FDA regulations and guidelines, and applicable international regulatory requirements
