Food Runner, Busser and/or Host/ess
This position is for our Double Cut - Steakhouse
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner, Busser and/or Host/ess. In this role, you will be expected to work with the front-of-house team and the kitchen team to ensure that all guests are taken care of.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests
Pay rates vary from $10/hr - $14/hr depending on position
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guests in an accurate and quick manner
- Answer questions about food, beverage, restaurant functions, services, and resort services and activities
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
- Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to their needs and requests
What We’re Looking For
- General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- Must be able to frequently communicate and develop rapport with guests and associates and have a working relationship with the resort management team
