Field Service Engineering II

FLSmidth Inc. is seeking an Field Service Engineer II (Automation) for its office in Midvale, UT: Responsible to commission, perform preventive maintenance, and provide aftermarket services for FLSmidth systems, which include ECS, AceSys, and Plant Data Management Systems. The position requires the minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field, and 2 years’ experience in the job offered or any related occupation, to include 2 years’ experience working with PLC programming including Ladder logic and Acesys function blocks in RSLogix, Step 7, PCS 7, and unity PLC; 2 years’ experience working with HMI programming, including ECS; 2 years’ experience working with industrial networking, ControlNet, Device net, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Modbus TCP; and 2 years’ experience with firewall Configuration CISCO, DELL SonicWALL. Incumbent will be required to travel 70% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.
