US Customer Engagement Product Training Lead

ROLE SUMMARY
The US Customer Engagement Product Training Lead oversees product training delivery for the Commercial organization’s full portfolio of products. The role leads the training delivery and leverages cross-functional partnership to ensure seamless delivery of evolved and enhanced training programs which leverage Customer Engagement Training constructs for training design and deliver on Unit CFC goals for each aligned product and therapeutic area. This role has the overall responsibility for ensuring product training occurs to meet the strategic and dynamic needs of in-line products, product launches, dynamic training interventions and strategic brand efforts needed for POAs, critical brand imperatives and business grounded needs related to product knowledge and selling impact. The role works across and as a member of a multi-stakeholder group, partnering with other members of the Customer Engagement Training leadership team, the business and brands to manage a team of professionals to deliver brand trainings that support the commercial organization's strategy, values, and goals, providing and connecting across role and topic trainers to ensure a coordinated approach for necessary tools, skills, and knowledge required to achieve brand, customer and experience-based goals.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop direct reports to be a strategic partner to the brands and business as representatives for their assigned brand and TA grouping of products
- Utilize train-the-trainer curriculum to develop direct reports for optimal skills needed to deliver and evolve best-in-class training.
- Develop and align with key stakeholders for Training strategy, content and approach that deliver optimal and timely training and information for products, across lifecycles and dynamic training needs.
- Collaborate within the Customer Engagement Training team to effectively define and deliver learning initiatives that are measured by quantifiable value and impact based on defined team goals, aligned business measures and KPIs.
- Partner effectively to evaluate and prioritize training needs related to US product launches, inline product promotions, operating plan priorities for brands and POA training efforts related to brand commercial L&D areas of ownership and partnership.
- Work with other members of Customer Engagement Training leadership to identify trainings gaps and emerging needs that require additional or evolved trainings and leverage the integrated training model and product focus of the delivery trainers to ensure high impact, customer centric content that supports CFC best in class results.
- Coordinate within the Customer Engagement Training team to support the uniform delivery of learning across roles and topics, for both core curriculum and dynamic brand needs.
- Lead the team to deliver training to support sales and CFCs teams in which team members feel a strong sense of ownership and accountability toward creating the best possible customer experience
- Guide and train CFC teams to understand content related to market needs and key needs of their customers for each of the aligned brands.
- This role will manage an organization of 50+ colleagues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 15+ years of training, leadership development, coaching, sales, marketing related experiences or combination of experiences
- Deep experience and knowledge of commercial training and leadership development, including delivery of blended and distance learning curricula and content
- Experience in evaluating Learning programs and materials to ensure client and learner needs are met
- Experience with instructional design
- Understanding of the bio pharma industry and the ability to translate business needs into training strategy
- Demonstrated ability as a strategic partner to business leaders
- Deep knowledge of a broad range of Pfizer products, relevant diseases, and competitive clinical knowledge
- Previous experience leading people and matrixed organizations within commercial (i.e. sales, account management, marketing etc.) including developing people to meet goals, providing constructive feedback, and employee motivation.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives
