Solventum is seeking Warehouse Operator candidates to join our team in Meriden CT!
- Starting Pay: $21.64/hour
- Shift: 1st shift (Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Performing various operations including working with shrink wrap machines, tape machines, scales, and UPS equipment.
- Performing necessary clerical and manual work to receive inventory and ship product from verbal or written instructions, which includes the handling of hazardous materials.
- Identifying parts and quantifies using required scales, methods of calculations, or other systems.
- Utilizing computer systems to process and move product in and out of stocking locations.
- Completing quality checks and, if a discrepancy is found, working with appropriate team members to solve the problem.
- Observing all company and OSHA safety rules and practices. Keeping the work area clean and orderly.
- Assisting other department members as needed to ensure safety and maximize output. Assisting in the training of other employees as necessary.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by leads and supervision.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start).
- Possess a PIV certification.
- Ability to work 1st shift (Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm)
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- One (1) year or more of plant, manufacturing, and/or warehouse experience
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to follow instructions
