As a Supervisor within RSM’s Data & Analytics Team, the Business Intelligence Consultant will be responsible for working with Business Intelligence practice leadership to serve all clients, but focusing on clients operating on NetSuite, by:
Executing solution delivery engagements
Discerning, defining, refining, and documenting client requirements
Building reports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools
Providing ongoing support to existing clients
Building out demonstration scenarios and prototypes
Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices
Identifying data & analytics strategy as it pertains to existing NetSuite environments and operations
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or higher and 5+ years of related work experience
Curiosity about business and technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Data Storage and movement Technologies:
E.g. SQL Server Database Engine, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, Microsoft Fabric
Experience using T-SQL scripts (stored procedures, views, functions etc.) to manipulate data and simplify access to data
Proficiency with SuiteAnalytics Connect ODBC Connector
E.g. NetSuite.com or NetSuite2.com
Experience with data modeling (normalized and de-normalized data models), understanding of the appropriate purpose for each
Ideal if related to NetSuite2.com vs NetSuite.com
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels
Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business
Experience with the following will be a plus:
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW)
Analytics Workbooks within NetSuite
Oracle Analytics Desktop (OAD)
Corporate Performance Management (CPM)
NetSuite PBCS, Adaptive, Solver, etc.
SuiteApps within NetSuite
NetGain, PBCS, NetSuite CRM, etc.
NetSuite Certifications
Administrator, etc.
