Summary:

The Intern will work directly with Cosm’s Pittsburgh Technical Operations department and gain hands-on experience with immersive technology and live sports workflows. This internship provides exposure to equipment setup, operational logistics, and broadcast support in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. The intern will assist the team with key aspects of project roll outs and learn about broadcast workflows used in both the office and field settings.

Responsibilities:

• Learn how to test and build field and in-office technical equipment by assisting experienced staff.
• Shadow and support scheduling workflows for live game operations.
• Observe and help with inventory tracking and the procurement process for parts and tools.
• Assist with documentation of technical issues by contributing to daily Event Technical Reports.
• Collaborate with QC technicians to learn how remote production (REMI) operations are conducted.
• Contribute ideas to help improve existing operational workflows and documentation processes.
• Participate in team meetings, gaining exposure to team dynamics and communication across departments.

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior at the start of the program.
• Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
• Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in immersive technology and content.
