  Danberry at Inverness is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.   This is a FULL TIME position and the hourly rate is $22 per hour. This position also is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus. We also offer a full benefits package that includes: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, DAILY PAY, 401k, STD, LTD, employer paid Life Insurance, Employee Referral Bonus, and more!   You must be able to work Tuesday-Saturday from 8am-4:30pm (or close to these hours).
    Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:
  • Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
  • Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.
  • Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
  • Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  • Assist, during winter, with snow removal efforts as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where appropriate.
  • Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
  • Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
  • WHEN QUALIFIED, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
  • Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
  • Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  • High School diploma or equivalent in training, education and experience
  • Minimum one year experience in building maintenance
  • One year or more experience in apartment and/or healthcare community maintenance
